   Real leather, and well made. I recommend using a small cosmetics bag or something to help keep a few things separated, as the purse is literally one compartment that you could slip a phone ,a lip gloss and a book. The straps are a nice length and the purse itself hangs nicely. I'm a teensy concerned that the straps and a bit thin . But I will just have to make sure I keep contents to a minimum.
